I was Kurama, and China was Hiei. Because of our being Kurama x Hiei fans, much madness ensued. We didn't plan for this to have a story. This silly little plot just sort of sprung out while I was editing with China and Rayson watching over my work.
First, some random shots.

[Hiei appears behind Kurama after a sudden shift of air]
Kurama: Hiei, we both know you're late. [smirks] It's fine. Sit, sit.
Hiei: Hmf. [sits] What did you have planned for today?
Kurama: Oh, nothing much... Just promise we can have the whole day to ourselves?
Hiei: As long as nobody finds out...
Kurama: Hee, I wonder what Yusuke and the others would say if they saw you like this.
Hiei: I allow only you to see this side of me, you know that.
Hiei: [completely OOC] Hey, look! Pretty!
Kurama: Let's chase after it, shall we?
[Kurama and Hiei go off to... frolic]
Hiei: This field is... unexpectedly vast.
Kurama: I'd gladly get lost anywhere with you.
[Kurama runs like a giddy schoolboy. And falls on his face pretty much the same way.]
Hiei: Oi. Are you going to wake up and stand or am I going to have to-
[Hiei gets pulled down onto the ground]
Hiei: K-Kurama...
Kurama: Shhh. Our only witnesses are these trees.
[...]
"I feel safe when we're like this..."
[Both get up after a long, long while. Kurama goes off to find a peaceful spot while Hiei struggles with his shoelaces.]
Hiei: Shimatta. Mukuro's summoning me. I must return to Makai. But...
[Kurama skips happily back to Hiei.]
Kurama: I found a spot for our meditation~! I think a little enlightenment and
unity with the earth would do even you some good, little fire demon.
We were actually doing a little parody of one of our favorite scenes from Rurouni Kenshin, where Saitou Hajime mentions his wife.
Kenshin and Misao have this funny mental image while thinking that someone must be as saintly as the Buddha himself to be able to love Saitou.
[Kurama senses the change in Hiei.]
Kurama: You seem distracted. What's wrong?
Hiei: Nothing. I must go.
Kurama: But I thought...?
Hiei: There is much that needs to be done. I'm sorry. [is embarassed of still being under Mukuro]
Kurama: Fine, then. Break your promise and go. T_T
Hiei: Hmph. [is too stubborn to do as he is told]
[Spring changes to summer.]
[Summer turns into autumn. By now the audience should be able to tell how NOT serious this whole thing is.]
Hiei: [thinks] Mukuro will only make it worse if I make her wait any longer.
[Kurama finds himself alone.]
Kurama: I guess... It's better like this. There won't be anything to hide from the others.
Kurama: ...I do miss him, though.
Kurama: And I cannot help but wish I knew what had happened...
[Kurama senses a presence.]
Kurama: [sniffs] Could it be? [sharp intake of breath] ...Explosives?

This makes me so happy--! Cosplay + Yaoi fandom? Whoohoo!Wonderful job on both your cosplays. Its good not to see a horrible Hiei and Kurama done. Definately the best around, I think!
